The Benefits of Bible Study
Men and Women alike are all called to know God. There are no exceptions. The first and greatest commandment can be found in Deuteronomy 6. We are all commanded to love God with everything inside of us. My question to you is; how can we love someone we simply do not know? The answer is: we can’t! Yet only a small segment of our population ever even cracks open a Bible. If you are truly seeking the blessings that come from being a child of God, then you have to make time in your daily routine to really know God. There will be no excuse for not taking time to know the Creator. In the West especially, there are Bible studies in every language and at every hour to suit a busy person’s schedule throughout our nation. So what is keeping you from fellowship with God and allowing him to bless your life? You never know who you will meet or whose life you might actually bless as you all seek the Lord together.
A word of caution
Make sure to check out the Bible study group’s statement of faith before you commit to a group. Be certain that the organization believes in the inerrancy of Scripture and that it is the inspired Word of God. Any teaching that deviates from the written word of God will not be beneficial to your understanding of the one true God.
